I am so glad the winter rain seems to be gone (knock on wood). Lot of sunny clear days to get out side and explore the area around my new place, like the Pitt River Bridge. Looking forward to my first summer in Maple Ridge.

Fire lit Forest

I am new to shooting at night but one of the things I loved about shooting at night in the forest is how camp fires light up the trees. The orange glow on these trees is from a camp fire about 200 meters away.

Distant Golden Ears Mountain

I like the way Golden Ears mountain pokes out of the back of this photo. I am hoping to climb this mountain later this summer once the snow melts down a little. Should be a great view from up there.
