Sasquatch Park Reflections

Sasquatch provincial park is near Harrison lake. A great place to relax and chill by the lake. I hope to get out there for a weekend camping this summer.

One Mile Lake Boardwalk

The ice on one mile lake near Pemberton was just melting when I visited. In about a month it will be a great place for a swim to get away from the hot summer sun.

I am so glad the winter rain seems to be gone (knock on wood). Lot of sunny clear days to get out side and explore the area around my new place, like the Pitt River Bridge. Looking forward to my first summer in Maple Ridge.

This stream is just below the famous Columbia Icefields in Jasper National Park. Despite the ice cold water that was glacier just hours before, some flowers manged to bloom in late July.

Brandywine Falls

We stopped at Brandywine falls yesterday on our way up to Whistler, the gates to the parking lot were closed for the winter but we just parked in front of the gates and walked in, had the view of the falls all to ourselves which doesn't happen much during the summer because it is a popular tourist attraction.
