Mountain Farmers

While every flat inch of Whister is packed with hotels and tourist haunts. Pemberton which is just a 30 minute drive north has lots of farms and ranches sitting at the foot of the same types of amazing mountains.

Monarch Butterfly Close Up

This wasn't an easy shot to get, these monarchs don't sit still for long, so it was hard to get the camera to focus before it moved on to the next flower. Out of about 20 tries, this was the only one that was in focus.

Rocky Viewpoint

According to Google maps, the flat area at the tip of the land in the view is a Chinese Cemetery not sure when we started segregating Cemeteries by race in Canada, must be a story behind it that I don't know.

It doesn't seem to matter where you are on in BC, if you are along the shore, there is going to be some logs washed up. These two made a V as they floated in the morning waves.
