BC Government Eagle

Behind the BC Provincial government building was this interesting fountain. There were statues of Canadian animals around the edge of the fountain, I thought the eagle was the most photographically interesting so took a couple of shots.

Seaside Garden

Juan de Fuca provincial park is known for its tide pools but when I visited Port Renfrew, low tide was around 3:00am, not a great time to be exploring the ocean side. So, I went down to check out any tide pools that may be left at first light. There were as many as I am sure there are at low tide but there were a couple and this was one of my favourites.

Lighthouse Park

Just below all the million dollar mansions of West Vancouver is Lighthouse park. This lighthouse has been around since 1912 and sits in a 75 hectare park with many trails and places for good photos.
