Didn’t know what to name this one, it is a skunk cabbage in full bloom, there were tones of them along the Willowbrae Trail.

Lone Orange Starfish

These starfish were all along the rocks on the beaches around Tofino. There were many purple ones, which we also have in Vancouver but there were also some orange ones which I haven’t seen in Van.

Natures Garbage

The beaches of Tofino are littered with logs and other natural refuge from the sea but no man-made garbage. They must clean it up fairly regularly because it is difficult to find a beach anywhere without at least some garbage washing up with the tides.

We spent 2 hours just walking down this beach and didn’t see another sole. But someone was here for a walk earlier with mans best friend. Tofino is an amazing place.
