Monarch Butterfly Close Up

This wasn't an easy shot to get, these monarchs don't sit still for long, so it was hard to get the camera to focus before it moved on to the next flower. Out of about 20 tries, this was the only one that was in focus.

Monarch Butterfly

Growing up in Ontario, I remember monarchs being around all the time. However, I never saw them while living in Vancouver or Asia. When I was back in Ontario for a visit, I saw a bunch of them while at Wasaga beach so took a couple of shots. They really are pretty fancy little insects.
