This was a rare case where I prefered the black and white version of one of my photos to the color. This is Joffre lake just as the last of the ice is melting off the lake.
When we visiting lower Joffre lake in May, the ice and snow was still lingering around despite recent warmer temperatures. An amazing little lake and park just a short drive from Pemberton.
This is Chilliwack lake on a clear calm night. There was some mist rising from the lake but not a cloud in sight.
