I was walking along the river bank and saw this shot but needed to walk through the riverside muck to get into position. Luckily I had my waterproof hiking boots on so I went right in. Like how the photo turned out but my wife did not like the inch of mud caked on my boots when I got back home.
This photo was taken five minutes after sunset. The sunset is lighting the higher clouds pink while the lower clouds are out of the light and appear darker. These colors only lasted for a couple of minutes before the colors were gone.
This little lake is not far from my office but I had never been there before last week. A nice place to take a walk and some photos before starting the day at work.
