Normally this water covered area is a pebble beach but there was flooding at the river below the lake so the damn was closed allowing the water to rise much higher than usual.
When we visited Golden Ears Provincial park, the water in Alouette lake was totally clear, while there was just enough mist and clouds in the air to a little mystery to the photo.
