January Pineapple Express

We had everything arranged for about a month, the plan was to head over to Mount Washington for the first time. We wanted to do some snowshoeing and photography so figured there would be enough snow by end of January.

Well a Pineapple express (warm weather front) moved in the weekend we had planned. The forecast was for 11 degrees celsius and raining all weekend! But the trip was all planned out so we headed over to the Island, knowing we might spend the entire weekend in the hotel room.

However, the weatherman was wrong and we had great weather it was around 8 degrees and partly cloudy all weekend, the snow was melting but there was still enough to snowshoe on and got some great photos like this one.
