The seaside in Vancouver is sheltered from big ocean waves by Vancouver Island, but over in Port Renfrew the waterfront is much different, this morning the waves were hitting the shore pretty hard.
This log has obviously been drifting for a while before it washed up on this stone beach in Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. It was the color that stood out from the rest of the beach and caught my eye.
I was taking photos of this river when I looked across the water and saw these trees, not sure what it is about them, but they just look a bit creepy to me.
