About this Green Point Campground wall art
Green Point Campground sits in the coastal rainforest between Highway 4 and Long Beach, in the middle of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Fog rolls in off the Pacific most summer nights and hangs in the trees until the sun gets high enough to burn it off, and for a few minutes in between the light comes through in beams.
We were camped there for three nights in August 2019. One morning I was making breakfast and turned around to see the sun starting to poke through the fog behind the site, so I picked up the camera and made a handful of frames between the moss-covered trunks and fallen logs. Within five minutes the fog was gone and it was time for the beach.
That is the case for camping. You are already standing in the rainforest when the light happens. This Tofino rainforest wall art keeps those five minutes over breakfast, a Vancouver Island rainforest wall art print for a room that could use a little morning light.

About This Spot
This frame was made inside Green Point Campground itself, in the rainforest between the campsites and the bluff above Long Beach, roughly midway along the beach in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. The campground is about 15 minutes south of Tofino on Highway 4, open from spring to mid-October by reservation, and a Parks Canada park pass is needed. Summer fog is common here early in the morning, and the beams only show while the sun is still low and the fog is thinning, here for about five minutes before it burned off.

The image is dye-sublimated into the coating of a ChromaLuxe aluminum panel, not printed on top. That's what gives a metal print its depth, its luminescence, and its longevity. Comes ready to hang on a hidden mount that floats it half an inch off the wall.
The image is face-mounted behind a 1/8-inch optically pure acrylic panel. The thickness adds depth, giving the print a slight glass-like quality where the image seems to sit just behind the surface. Polished edges, with a hidden mount on the back that floats the print half an inch off the wall.
