About this Inland Lake wall art
Inland Lake sits in the forest north of Powell River, with a trail that circles the whole shoreline. In places the loop leaves solid ground and crosses the edge of the water on a wooden boardwalk, its low railings set against a wall of firs and cedars that climbs straight up from the lake.
I was there on a late June evening in 2020. The wind had worked at the lake all day, and only near the end of it did the surface settle. From the opposite shore I watched the boardwalk and the trees come back together in the water, the railings drawn in a pale line and the moss on one rock glowing gold in the reflection.
Hung in a room that wants something green and slow, this Inland Lake Provincial Park print holds the hour the lake went still. As a Sunshine Coast BC lake print it also marks the place where the loop meets the Sunshine Coast Trail, which carries on for kilometres.

About This Spot
Inland Lake Provincial Park is about 12 kilometres north of Powell River, reached by Inland Lake Road to the parking area at the south end of the lake. A level loop trail of roughly 13 kilometres circles the lake, built wide enough for wheelchairs, with wooden boardwalks and bridges where it runs along the water's edge. This stretch is also where the Sunshine Coast Trail joins the loop on its long hut-to-hut route between Sarah Point and Saltery Bay. Come on a calm evening, when the wind drops and the far shore reflects cleanly in the lake.

The image is dye-sublimated into the coating of a ChromaLuxe aluminum panel, not printed on top. That's what gives a metal print its depth, its luminescence, and its longevity. Comes ready to hang on a hidden mount that floats it half an inch off the wall.
The image is face-mounted behind a 1/8-inch optically pure acrylic panel. The thickness adds depth, giving the print a slight glass-like quality where the image seems to sit just behind the surface. Polished edges, with a hidden mount on the back that floats the print half an inch off the wall.
